Company Background

After 20+ years as an accomplished project manager across multiple industries, Belinda was selected to assume the leadership of a large, at-risk training division of a Fortune 500 company. After successfully restructuring and reorganizing the team and the services provided, Belinda had an opportunity to facilitate leadership and management courses in addition to her role as the Director. It was during that time spent in the classroom that Belinda realized she loved teaching as much as she loved project management. Following that realization she left Corporate America to pursue her new passion: bringing together project management and adult education.

She started out as a contract PMP instructor for a number of large training companies. While she was passionate about PMP exam preparation and the students' success, she found that the materials, methods, and environments provided by those training companies were not conducive to PMP preparation. After one particularly rough class (a broken air conditioning unit in the training room during record heat, beyond sub-par materials, and the host hotel's food decorated with bits of mold...getting the picture? read more here) Belinda consulted with Devin and Passionate Project Management was born. They would start their own company and do things the right way and focus strictly on exam prep. They were determined to be everything those training companies weren't: Simply, the best PMP exam prep training company in the world.

Since that sweaty, stinky and unpleasant week, Passionate Project Management has gone on to develop the most robust training materials in the industry and PPM's incredible growth has been based completely on providing exceptional service to their students, time and time again. Belinda became the first woman in the world to receive all five of the PMI credentials: PMP, PMI-SP, PMI-RMP, PgMP and CAPM and has recently added the PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner) to her accomplishments!
