Many training providers offer a "Day 5 Test Option", where students who have previously received their approval from PMI and have their eligibility ID/Test Code, are able to sit for the exam on the day after the class. For many who are not fully aware of the difficulty of the PMP exam, it may seem like a great option to get it all "done" in one week. However, the PMP credential is not a reflection of one week, it is a reflection of many years of experience and education.

While we certainly do have students that choose to take the test on Friday after the class (and who go on to pass the exam), we actually recommend scheduling your exam for the following week or weekend. Many students underestimate the amount of focus, effort, and energy that will be required during the course. By Friday, participants are usually more than a little "fried". Giving yourself the extra few days to review the materials and follow up on any questions, only improves your probability of passing the exam.

As a reminder, your test cannot be scheduled until after you have received approval on your application, paid your credentialing fees, and cleared audit, if randomly selected.
